This course builds on what you learned in the Open Water Diver certification. It’s not about perfection—it’s about progression. You’ll dive deeper, navigate smarter, and explore new types of diving, all with a PADI Instructor by your side.
Many divers worry this course will be harder than the first.
Actually, the opposite is true. The Open Water course transforms complete beginners into capable divers. That’s a huge leap.
But now you already know how to dive. You’ve got the basics down. The Advanced course simply helps you explore more. It’s about building on your foundation while discovering what kind of diver you want to be.
Required dives
There are two required dives: Deep and Navigation.
You’ll learn to go beyond 18 meters (up to 30m/100ft), guided safely by your instructor.
The navigation dive starts on land. You’ll practice compass skills, then use them underwater. It’s practical, fun, and surprisingly satisfying.
Adventures Dives
Then comes the exciting part—three Adventure Dives of your choice.
Night diving? Underwater photography? Wreck diving or peak performance buoyancy? Your choice! With over 20 Adventure Dives to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Pick what interests you most—and don’t be afraid to try something new.
